Right people in the right seats
When you understand how people think, behave, and respond, you can put the right people in the right seats, give tasks to the people best suited, accept what cannot be changed, and hire the right kind of new person.
Talent in the wrong seat looks like a character defect.

Tactics by seat
Every manager (Chassis)
- For each seat, write the three must-have strengths. Score the person in it. Move or replace if the gap is structural.
General Manager
- Do a company-wide seat review quarterly. Do not wait for annual reviews to move people.
Owner
- Never keep a loyal person in a seat that hurts the team. Loyalty is honored with a better-fit seat or an honest exit.
