    Map the seats

    Where does the owner still appear on the Business Machine? Over 20 employees, they should start leaving those seats. Over 60, almost never occupy them.

    Put someone in charge

    Every gear needs a person with goals, tools, and training, who is actually in charge of the KPI.

    Vision, leadership-level people, capital, innovation, culture, elongated-shadow work. In control, not in charge of daily operations.

How to use it

  • Hand off one operational seat every 90 days until the chart is clean.
  • The GM's job is to make the owner unnecessary in daily operations.
  • Do not snatch work back at the first mistake. That teaches no one.
